1963
Reva was Formed
Reva, another name for Goddess Durga, also means a ‘Star’ and was started by our forefather, Shri SP Goel, while in government service. India in ancient times was also known as ‘Revakhande’. Reva was formally started by the eldest son of Shri SP Goel, in Delhi in a small workshop that specialized in automobile components. Few years later Shri Balraj Goel also joined his brother.

1979
A NEW STATE OF THE ART FACTORY WAS ESTABLISHED
Soon Reva established a name for itself and won many recognitions for quality and before-time deliveries from companies like Escorts, Yamaha and others. The Brothers were famously named,‘Turner Brothers’. Hard-work and God’s grace showered prosperity and work multiplied. A new state of the art factory was established at F-25 okhla industrial area ph-2 Delhi. In a bid to expand business, Shri Balraj Goel started a material handling division.

1986
ISI certified
Reva was a reputed name in the field of Material Handling Equipments. It was the first in the country to be ISI certified for its Chain Pulley Blocks and was tough competition to the then giants like Hoist-O-Mech, Indef, Jessop Cranes, Tractel India and many others. As early as 1986, Reva got its foot into clients like Indian Railways, BHEL, NTPC, L&T and became their most preferred vendor due to deliveries, prices and quality. It was not a smooth ride although. The motto of continuous learning kept spirits alive.

1987
UDYOG PATRA award
Shri Balraj Goel was awarded the UDYOG PATRA on July 13, 1987, by the then president of India Dr. S.D. Sharma.

1989
THE FIRST HOIST WE MADE

1991
Reva participated in many exhibitions in India and abroad and opened offices in various parts of India for increasing customer reach and better customer experience. In 1991 new facility in Faridabad was started by taking over Carry More Cranes (p) ltd.

1996
ISO- 9001 certified
Reva was again the first one to be ISO- 9001 certified company in the crane industry.

1997
NEW CNC SHOP WAS INAUGURATED
The industry was changing, it was the era of CNC machines. A new CNC shop was inaugurated with 6 CNC machines. We pioneered the use CNC machines in Cranes and Hoists industry.

1999
attached to the Indian Bureau of Standards
Reva executed an order for 150T capacity crane from APGENCO, which made us enter into a different category of lifting equipment. Now approved by BHEL, we manufacture cranes with capacity upto 250T. Reva was closely attached to the Indian Bureau of Standards and a Reva was acknowledged as one of the contributors for the revised standard on cranes IS:3177 (indian standard for the cranes).

2009
A New Unit started for Expansion and High Capacity Cranes
A new facility was started for fabrication of Cranes. This facility included SAW welding, which again was one of the firsts in cranes field. First crane dispatched from this Unit was a 100T 28 M span Crane for BHEL.

2015
Brand Ambassador by the MSME ministry
Reva was a termed a ‘Brand Ambassador’ by the MSME ministry and won appreciation award from MSME as ‘Best Performing Unit’ for implementing Lean Manufacturing Systems.
